Director, Product Marketing

Intrusec, an early stage, well-funded network security company based in Atlanta is seeking a Director of Product Marketing.

This is a unique opportunity to join an early stage company that has gained significant market traction. The mission of the person in this position will be to help create extremely high levels of company awareness and product demand. This position currently reports to the CEO.

Experience:
  • 7+ years of marketing experience in enterprise software, security, and/or networking.
  • Breadth and depth in most areas of marketing communications, including working with graphic/web design firms and PR firms, managing trade shows, seminars, webinars, direct mail and email marketing.
  • Proven success marketing the early stage of a new business or technology. It is important that candidates have had at least one successful experience taking a new product, service or company to market, resulting in the generation of significant revenue.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise sales team with product collateral, demos, sales-oriented web site and internal positioning/strategy documents.
  • Experience managing within budgetary guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Create demand generation programs that result in a measurable revenue for the company.
  • Develop of compelling sales messages that resonate with customer needs.
  • Help create high levels of brand awareness.
  • Owner of all outbound product collateral and sales support materials, including web, demos, data sheets, white papers, sales training materials, etc.
  • Strategic and tactical execution of marketing programs, including trade shows, seminars, direct mail, email, customer council meetings, etc.
  • Work with Inside Sales to identify and acquire appropriate lists for lead generation activities, and generate appropriate reports in Salesforce.com to track marketing program effectiveness.
  • Develop cost effective programs and manage marcom budget.
