Intrusec is established to deliver advanced vulnerability detection solutions that pioneer the way the world monitors its networks. Accordingly, we have assembled a team of extraordinary professionals to deliver these solutions to you.

David J. Meltzer - Founder and Chief Technology Officer

David founded Intrusec in January 2002 to bring his vision of real-time vulnerability detection to reality. He is one of the pioneers of network intrusion detection systems, an original author and lead developer of the market-leading RealSecure IDS from Internet Security Systems.

David is also a respected researcher credited with the discovery of numerous vulnerabilities. While at Internet Security Systems, David led development of the initial versions of RealSecure, and subsequently co-founded ISS's X-Force security research group. Immediately prior to Intrusec, David was the founder and CTO of Sonicity, a secure multicasting software company whose technology was acquired by Sony in November 2001. David has a B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Marc Winn – Chief Executive Officer

Marc brings over 19 years of sales experience and over a decade of technology sales management to Intrusec, as well as a proven track record in enterprise security products. Immediately prior to joining Intrusec as CEO, Marc was the CEO of Stonesoft, Inc., the Americas division of Stonesoft, a leading publicly traded high-availability firewall software provider. Prior to Stonesoft, Marc was CEO of SCS, Inc., VP of Business Development at ZapMedia, VP of Sales at Technologic, and held sales management positions at XcelleNet, Harbinger, NDCN, and Oppenheimer & Co. Marc has a B.A. in Economics from University of the South.

Mark Zwecker – Chief Financial Officer

Mark Zwecker joined Intrusec, Inc. in September of 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. Previous to Intrusec, Mark was the founder and CFO of Perma-Fix, a NASDAQ traded services firm, where he successfully managed the company through four acquisitions and the company's initial public offering. He continues to serve on the board of directors of Perma-Fix. Mark has over twenty years experience advising and providing financial oversight to high technology start-up companies in Georgia, both as part of Georgia Institute of Technology's Advanced Technology Development Center and as an independent consultant. Mark has a B.S.I.E in Industrial and System Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.
